Angola:
A Cabinet Commission Review found that during the 2013/2014 flood season, all provinces with the exception of Namibe recorded rains with considerable material and human damage, including the destruction of 6,317 houses, affecting more than 70,000 people.
Zimbabwe:
While people are moving to their resettlement site, an estimated 2,500 households remain at the Chingwizi transit camp following floods earlier this year. WFP, through Plan International, has initiated a 4 month food distribution project at the camp financed through the OCHA-managed Central Emergency Response Fund. However, significant needs remain in water and sanitation.
Mozambique:
Security incidents continue to be reported as talks to end hostilities continue.
